Queens of Instagram: Alana Blanchard, Bethany Hamilton, Anastasia Ashley top surfer girls

Model Alana Blanchard is tops among surfer girls on Instagram in terms of followers, which may explain her many sponsorship deals including Rip Curl, Reef, SPY Optic, Sticky Bumps, GoPro, Rockstar and Channel Islands.

Blanchards good friend, and fellow Hawaiian, Bethany Hamilton — subject of the 2011 film Soul Surfer — is has the second-most Instagram followers, while Californian Anastasia Ashley comes in at No. 3. In all, there are four Americans in the top ten, five Australians (including a pair of sisters), and one Brazilian.
