This past Friday night, the Penney Hornets lost to the Valle Catholic Warriors in the Missouri Class 1 state championship game, but they won the highlight battle on the strength of sophomore LaTroy Harper’s ESPN-worthy performance at wide receiver.
BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM

Harper made two highlight-reel touchdown receptions, the first of which called to mind Odell Beckham Jr’s famous one-handed grab. The second TD catch, was followed by a 360 spin move that was reminiscent of Braxton Miller’s whirling dervish run versus Virginia Tech.

If Harper never makes it to the NFL, he could still make quite a name for himself producing impersonation videos of football greats as Brandon Armstrong has done with NBA stars.
