If you possess a Type A personality and have a gyroscopic sense of balance, then we’ve got just the ticket for your next summer vacation: skateboarding in the Alps. Byron Essert and Alex Tongue did just that, and passed a number of flabbergasted (and slower) bicyclists on the way to their campsite. Incroyable!

Longboards — like their shorter skateboard siblings — lack brakes, so the only way to slow down on a decline is by dragging gloved hands and inducing some severe drifting action.
