Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has racked up over 10,000 rushing yards on the gridiron, but he couldn’t make it the 90 feet from home plate to first base against Jennie Finch’s wicked rise ball.

In fairness to Peterson, a number of far more experienced hitters have been embarrassed by Finch over the years. Among her strikeout victims are MLB legends Albert Pujols, Mike Piazza, Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez (who refused to even try swinging).
