Kante landed the Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year award on Sunday night, after securing the most votes from his fellow players. The Frenchman is on course to win a second successive Premier League title after aiding Leicester City’s improbable run to the top of the standings last season.

Chelsea will face Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley on May 27.
