Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban is a two-time NHL All-Star and 2014 Olympic gold medalist with Canada’s hockey team, but his accomplishment’s on the ice pale in comparison to his recent philanthropic splash.
The Toronto-born Subban, who is a key player for the red-hot Habs, made a $10,000,000 charitable commitment to the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The gift represents the largest ever made by any athlete in Canadian history.
