Kazakhstan’s Nijat Rahimov broke into a joy-infused dance — complete with jazz hands — following his world record clean and jerk in the 77-kilogram weightlifting class on Wednesday. Rahimov’s coach assisted in the celebratory choreography after his student upset favorite Lyu Xiaojun of China to claim the Olympic gold medal.
Only time will tell if Rahimov’s improvised dance will finally supplant the Running Man challenge.
