If you want to get your heart rate up and your recommended daily allowance of pep at the same time, have a look at all the gold-medal performances from the 2016 ICU World Cheerleading Championships.
Of the 104 member nations registered with the ICU, the USA and Mexico came away with the most gold medals once again. The USA won gold in four events, while Mexico claimed three. Japan’s lone gold in the Hip Hop Doubles category complimented their three silver-medal performances (Pom Doubles, Freestyle Pom, Team Cheer Hip Hop).
