It’s been a bizarre 48 hours for the Cleveland Cavaliers and their fans. On Wednesday, Iman Shumpert, who is recovering from a groin injury, helped his wife deliver a baby after she went into labor in the bathtub.
Still, no word yet from the NBA commisioner’s office on whether Dr. Shumpert will be credited with an assist.
GOLF MEETS BASKETBALL
Last night, US PGA champion Jason Day and his wife — one month removed from giving birth to her second child — were seated in the first row at the Cavaliers game. LeBron James chased down a ball in the fourth quarter and crashed into the couple, sending Ellie Day to the ground, and ultimately on a stretcher to the hospital.
Ellie Day I hope you're doing okay! My apologies! Hope u guys come back to another game soon. Love LJ!

Day was released from the hospital Friday morning with concussion symptoms, but was otherwise doing remarkably well after serving as the crash pad for the 6-foot-8, 205-pound James.
“She squeezed my hand and said she was fine. I think she was just a little weary. For me, obviously, her health is very important and hopefully she is doing well. The guys told me she's doing great now.”
BASKETBALL MEETS FOOTBALL
Earlier in the fourth quarter, shortly after Kevin Love completed a four-point play, he slapped hands with Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel who was sitting courtside.
To recap, Shumpert delivered a baby, James took out Jason Day’s wife, and Love showed some love to Johnny Manziel.
