Los Angeles police were able to apprehend a suspected car thief after he abandoned a stolen BMW and tried to outdistance his pursuers on skateboard. Following a few half-hearted, wobbly-kneed kicks on his longboard, the man fled on foot, only to be cordoned off by a red pickup truck.
To complete the “only in L.A.” narrative, the truck was driven by none other than Lou Pizarro, the star of truTV’s Operation Repo. If you’re wondering why Pizarro didn’t hop out of his truck to nab the suspect, take a gander at the repo man’s short stint in an MMA cage.
